Peru

There was tons of compassion and life in the village of Santo Tomas. The kids were so loving and carefree. They wanted to learn English and everything about us. Even though they did not have the luxuries that we have in the U.S., which I call hassles, they have a simple life. A life the contains comfort in there community. There was no crime or barbed wire fencing. The kids played in the dirt street, while family members sat and watched from there wood planked porches. Those that were not relaxing were doing daily chores; washing their cloths in a plastic tubs, sweeping their dirt floors, and fetching food/water for the days meals. Their lives were simple and peaceful and the greatest thing we did as Americans was provide them a church were they can continue to love the Lord. The greatest thing the villagers did was show us love and compassion. See Pictures Sermon
